Do you sell PFAS Free turn-out gear?

Yes.  Lion does provide a liner system that is PFAS free.  The moisture barrier is a product made by Stedfast, called Stedair CLEAR.  Although there are others coming to the market, Stedfast is the first to provide the product to the end user.  In addition, the Lion Redzone particulate blocking hood also uses the Stedair Clear PFAS free barrier in their hoods.  If interested, we can set up a meeting with Stedfast at your location to help you better understand PFAS barriers.

If we need to purchase a bunch of fire hose what should we purchase?

Purchasing fire hose is much more complex than it sounds.  Some questions we need answered to help you make the correct decision are;

• What is your desired flow?

• What type and PSI nozzles are you currently using?

• Are you having any problems now such as kinking, packing, pulling, durability?

• What is a typical size crew on your attack lines? 

A fire hose is not just hose.  With a little bit of information, we can make sure to get you the right product that you will be happy with for many years to come.

Of course!  Let’s get a meeting scheduled for us to talk about what you are currently using and what else you may want to consider.  After that meeting, we can get you a couple of demo nozzles for you to try and we can flow in the field.  “You don’t buy a car without test driving it first” and the same should be true for your equipment needs.

Do you offer any education on PPE and why it is so important to take care of it? 

We do it all the time.  The class normally takes about 1.5 hours so it can be coupled with a truck check night if you would like.  We will do a custom Power Point with all your department logos and photos in it.  I promise you, this will not be a sales pitch. Our company logo will not be seen in the presentation.  It is simply a session on how and why it is so important to take care of your PPE. 

I wish more people would ask us to do these presentations. It shows YOU CARE about your firefighters.
